Hi! I’m Scott – co-founder of Extraordinary Adventures, expert cruise and travel advisor, and complete cruise addict!
Extraordinary Adventures has always been the work of two people. I built it together with Laura – my partner in life and in business – and everything about this company still carries her mark. Laura is sadly no longer with us, but her warmth, her gift for truly listening, and the joy she took in finding every traveller their perfect voyage remain at the heart of all we do. Every adventure we plan honours her legacy.
Together, Laura and I fell in love with travel in all of its forms – exploring foreign lands on foot, sailing down romantic rivers on a riverboat, voyaging out to sea on a cruise ship… We loved the ancient stuff from history books, meeting people, indulging in traditional foods and trendy cuisine alike, and soaking up local cultures. Dancing, hiking, wandering, shopping… it was all so much fun – and those shared adventures are the foundation of everything I bring to our clients today.
As a cruise advisor, I understand the importance of enjoying and fully immersing yourself in the travel experience, and I strive to make that a reality for each and every one of our clients. And, of course, I practice what I preach! So, if I’m not in the office working on your Mediterranean cruise or Alaska expedition, I’m probably on a ship somewhere myself.

The Cruises We’ve Taken
We took our first cruise with Royal Caribbean on March 24, 2007, on the Legend of the Seas for a 7-Night Western Caribbean cruise, and it was love at first wave! Since then, we’ve been on nearly 40 cruises with almost 200 nights at sea!
