Your Extraordinary Middle East Adventure Awaits
The Middle East is a destination unlike any other. Golden deserts stretch to the horizon just beyond futuristic cityscapes, ancient ruins sit quietly in the shadow of soaring skyscrapers, and a tradition of Arabian hospitality makes every port feel genuinely welcoming. Cruise through the turquoise waters of the Arabian Gulf and explore a region where the world’s tallest buildings stand alongside centuries-old fortresses and vibrant spice souks. With warm winter sunshine and comfortable sailing conditions when much of the world is bundled up in cold weather, the Middle East delivers a truly extraordinary escape.

Ancient Heritage & Sacred Sites
Walk in the footsteps of civilizations spanning thousands of years. Stand before the rose-red facades of Petra, carved into sandstone cliffs by the Nabataeans over two millennia ago. Trace the sacred paths of Jerusalem’s Old City. Marvel at the grand mosques of the Arabian Peninsula, where intricate calligraphy and soaring minarets speak to centuries of devotion and artistry.
Futuristic Cities & Luxury
Dubai’s Burj Khalifa pierces the sky at over 2,700 feet. Abu Dhabi’s Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque dazzles with 82 white marble domes and the world’s largest hand-knotted carpet. Between the designer boutiques of the Dubai Mall and the cultural quarter of Saadiyat Island, the modern Arabian Gulf blends ambition with warm hospitality in a way you simply have to experience firsthand.
Exotic Flavors & Souks
Lose yourself in Muscat’s Muttrah Souk, where the scent of frankincense drifts between stalls piled high with Omani silver and hand-woven pashminas. In Dubai’s Gold Souk, glittering displays line narrow walkways that have drawn traders for generations. Between the exploring, pause for cardamom-spiced Arabic coffee poured from a traditional dallah, or savor slow-roasted lamb machboos seasoned with saffron, dried lime, and rose water.

Best Time to Cruise the Middle East
The Middle East cruise season is concentrated during the cooler months, making it an ideal winter-sun escape when other destinations are in their off-season.
Peak Season (November – March): This is the prime cruising window, with comfortable temperatures ranging from 70–85°F across the Arabian Gulf. Sunshine is virtually guaranteed, and humidity is at its lowest. This is the most popular time to sail, so early booking is recommended.
Shoulder Season (October, April): Slightly warmer temperatures but still very pleasant for sightseeing, with fewer crowds at major attractions and excellent value.
Summer (May – September): Most cruise lines reposition ships away from the Arabian Gulf during summer months, when temperatures can exceed 110°F. However, some Eastern Mediterranean itineraries touching the Holy Land remain available year-round.
Holiday sailings during Christmas, New Year, and the winter holidays are exceptionally popular for the Middle East, offering a unique way to celebrate the season under warm Arabian skies.
